課程概述 |
一. 內容：
1. 數值線性代數
2. 數值常微分方程
3. 數值偏微分方程
4. 高階程式寫作
二. 參考書（教科書）：
1. Quarteroni, Sacco, Saleri：Numerical Mathematics
2. Lambert：Numerical Methods for ODE
3. Taylor：Numerical Methods for PDE
三. 成績評量方式：
本課程將以書報討論及習題演練（程式寫作）為基礎，對科學計算的一些重點知識作初階的介紹。學生須對指定的教材章節做課堂報告，並對指定的習題提出電腦計算結果。 |

建議先修:Students are required to have some hands-on experience in solving numerical partial differential equations and numerical linear algebra.
評量:In-class computer programming and problem solving, 2 x 50% or 3 x 40%.
